GREAT LAKES MINING PROJECTS

Fifteen mining facilities are currently operating, or under construction in the United States portion of the Great Lakes basin. Selected projects are listed at the right. Projects will continue to be added, so please visit often. These will include the Highland Copperwood Project, the Tiilden Mine and the Empire Mine (now idle).
